A Texas transplant who has always been in pursuit of art as a career, Andrew Sherman found his calling behind the lens.
He has shot bands from Sting and Paul McCartney to local bands you haven't even heard of yet. Andrew spent most of his adult life in Los Angeles where he pursued music and acting. He was also a part of Andy Dick and the Bitches of the Century (led by the group’s namesake member, Andy Dick).
In 2016 Andrew took a few video editing classes at community college and landed a gig as the editor of the Chevy Music Showcase. An introduction to video editing, the opportunity also opened his eyes to the Texas music scene.
Andrew moved to Dallas, bought a camera, and has now become one of Dallas’ oft-published music photographers in local media. Andrew is the house photographer for Deep Ellum Art Company as well as many other regular clients including being a regular contributor to the Dallas Observer, and started his own online magazine dedicated to showcase live concerts and photogrpahers with Last Nite Live. He recently started hosting the Dallas Famous Podcast available on Deep Ellum Radio and all the major podcast platforms.
Andrew was named Readers Choice Best Photographer 2023 by the Dallas Morning News.
