S3 Ep4 — Mavel Traylor

This week we have Mavel Traylor aka Mavel the Creator. Mavel is the pre-to the post in all things production in DFW.. Hair, make-up, wardrobe, and any stage hand job that comes her way.

Mavel is someone most people wouldn’t know but the shows they love would not happen without her. She works with the Dallas Opera, Broadway Dallas, basically anywhere a big show in Dallas happens. She's worked with artists from Nikki Minaj to Beyonce, to Dolly Parton and was the first black female make-artist for Channel 5 Dallas.

Mavel owns the hair salon Eccentric Elegance Studio and is a certified instructor as well. Mavel is one of the blue-collar artists that doesn’t always get the credit she deserves as a concert, play or live production would not look nearly as good without people like Mavel. This was a blast and I know you’ll enjoy this one.
